Started in 2017 by Aslam Omar (Chartered Accountant (SA)), the AOC Group was created to speak to the very specific and personal needs of other entrepreneurs operating in specialist spaces.

Mahomed Aslam Omar
Director (B. Com; Dip Acc; CA(SA))
Aslam’s deep interest in wealth and legacy creation stems from his upbringing. Growing up exposed to the family insurance business, he stepped into the tax consulting environment, after completing his articles in 1998. Aslam spent over 15 years in the corporate environment working for Standard Bank (in five different business units) as well as at Umgeni Water. His unique skills set and diverse expertise means that he brings something very different to our clients – interweaving his business knowledge with real-life experience, consideration and care.
Anisa Loonat
Finance Manager
AOC Chartered Accountants
A qualified Chartered Secretary (ACG), Accounting Officer and registered Tax Practitioner, Anisa has over 25 years of experience in tax and accounting in various industries and sectors.
Her background spans the full accounting function from monthly to year-end financials all the way through to tax-related matters. Her experience includes B-BBEE auditing.
Anisa’s insights and focus on quality bring an additional level of service excellence to our clients.
Belinda Makins
Manager
AOC Financial Consulting
Belinda has extensive experience in payroll systems and Human Resources, having worked in the space for over seven years.
She currently manages the payroll systems of over 100 companies, with her portfolio including fast-food franchises: service stations and medical practices. She additionally consults regarding HR disputes and CCMA cases.
Belinda ensures that her dedicated team provides an efficient one stop shop for all client payroll/ HR-related solutions.
